In the interview, an AI bot with human features—you can identify it’s not human—even jokes like a human and praises you. It is selected to manipulate you as a human. Even the AI-generated offer letter for salary credentials cheats you and takes your bank information.

Real incident
In 2025, a person got an email from a big tech company. It has a LinkedIn profile, and the company website looks like the job role is a test. Her role is with 8 LPA, and tomorrow is the interview. She attended the interview. In that interview, the interviewer was an AI adjusting the tie just like a human, but the failed features were just sticking. She felt little doubt. After two rounds, the AI said, “You are selected to complete your joining process.” There is some mandatory information for the bank account.” It checked and took the details of her Aadhaar, PAN, bank account number, selfie, and some amount for the onboarding fee. In 48 hours, her money was robbed from her account, and 4 SIM cards linked with her mobile number were used to take out loans in her name.
How to find its AI-generated and fraud
AI can talk like a human, but it delays in answering, and it can repeat its sounds unnaturally.
- Make a fake letter. AI can make a fake offer letter; it uses Gmail instead of the company domain with all descriptions.
- KYC Update Screen Mockup: Not real companies mostly ask about it on the first day or during the interview.
- AI-Generated Recruit LinkedIn profile: It creates a recruiter LinkedIn profile automatically to make you trust it.
- Add an interactive base (gamify the fear). Recur for the use of email ID, a selfie with pan, Requests
- The refundable joining fee is fake to make you trust it.
- Offer a downloadable job safety kit, “PDF,” immediately after the interview.
- You might think that you are talking to a talking repeater, but it might not be a bot. Record your voice.
- Asks for Aadhaar, PAN, or bank details early on
- Poor grammar
- Chat in WhatsApp.
- Current doc: Submit.
- No video calls are interviews. Just Forms
- Sends APK files; never install unknown recruiters’ sent .apk files.
- Often a letter looks generic or copy-pasted.
- Report you.
Data Security Tip
- Use a dedicated email for job content.
- Never share OTP, Aadhar, or bank info online.
- Avoid clicking on unknown files.
- Use a password manager, use a strong password, and avoid password reuse.
Company names can be similar to real company names. The same messages are sent to many people. The website is new; the process will be finished in some time.

During the recession time, I applied for a job seen in the job board portal every day. I used to apply for hundreds of jobs daily, but I didn’t get any reply—not even a rejection email. It’s a very hard time for me, and then i get a call immediatly after applying i that call she said as about me and why i need this job she said emmidiatly im selected for 2nd intervies that is sheduled for evening i was happy and prepare for it in the inetrview the interview is other person she off her video and ask about me and ask the role about im currently giving interview i answer her she said she will get back to her with in one hour other hr called me in the same company shes aid that she is the hr of the comapny i was wonderd she said abou interview i answerd her i already done the interview and i told the interviewr name she said sorry and told there are two hr and the interviewer for get to mark me as completion it was little untruested for me in the nigh i get a selected maid with offer letter i was very happy in this recurtion time after that i realized how can they mad this in one day then i asked my friends and family to do a back ground check for this company because they maild me and force to sign a agrement imeediatly to compomr im role in the company turend to be its a frud they take my agrement and keep my certificates make im word under them with out giving salary soo i reported they call and blocked there mail what if i sined in agrement.
